Simply put, your car is worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. You probably won't find very many people willing to pay more than 14k for it, if that much. Personally, I wouldn't sell my car for less than 25k, so I guess I'll be hanging on to it for many more years! LOL!

+1

With just the built motor and no FI on it. get whatever you can. If it had a blower or turbo on it then probably 15-17k

Sometimes it can be harder to sell a heavily modded car than a more stock one, especially if you are not very flexible on the price. Somebody has to be specifically looking for what you have. Unfortunately, when it comes to modded cars, usually all you have are a lot of used parts. I would start at whatever the car is worth to you and see what kind/if any responses you get. If nobody shows interest, keep coming down on the price until someone bites. Also remember, unless someone simply has the money themselves, most people are going to borrow the money to buy it, so you'll need to keep it within fair market value in order for most banks to finance the buyer. If you take the market value of the car and then inflate it because of the work it has done to it, then the bank only sees an overpriced car. Good luck with the sale!

Honestly, i would pay extra for a modded car, maybe not 1/2 of what the parts of worth, but close to it.

I paid 15,500 for mine stock with 42k on it. I think people tend to want a stock motor to begin with so id say just start out high and work your way down. Why are you selling it your just getting started?

Yep. I paid a pretty good price for my stock 03 Mach 1 with just over 8,000 miles and it is worth every penny to me. Wouldn't think about getting rid of it for anything but a "knock me over" price. And not in the near future either.

You could try a higher price to see if you get some nibbles, but potential buyers often like to start with a stock engine.

Good luck.

You will not get as much as you think for it. People don't buy highly modded cars for a couple of reasons... first, that most parts are used parts and we all know it... but even more importantly, that if a car is highly modded.. it's also more likely to have been abused. So your 7x,xxx miles or your 8,xxx on the new motor can really be double that due to the amount of beating it took... not to mention your suspension and drivetrain still have all that abuse on them.
