GT500 Sway Bars

GT500 Sway Bars
I found some GT500 sway bars for fairly cheap. I was considering buying them, but think I remember reading the rear bar may be too large for my car (V6). Can someone with knowledge enlighten on this?
I have a brand new FRPP rear sway bar in my garage, but can't seem to find the right hardware for a decent price.

Too large to fit or too large for safe handling?
If the latter, it might be because the Shelby plows more than the others and needs a larger rear bar to decrease the understeer. On the six it may lead to more oversteer than you want.
Just my musings. Maybe others with more experience will chime in.
Cheers.

When you say "hardware".. what hardware is required to mount a GT/500 rear bar to a V6 stang? just wondering because I have the entire rear setup from my GT and can help you if you need some parts.

Ah, I see. I have the complete stock GT front and rear swaybar assy's in my garage removed when I installed the Hotchkis setup. I need to post again on craigslist, see if a V6 owner needs them. I posted a while back with a huge "05-09 mustang V6 owners - swaybars" header but no bites...

I'm in austin. Why wouldn't the GT500 bars be safe??? You have an S197, the GT500 bars are going to be a huge improvement. Just because someone doesn't like the "feel" of a larger front/rear bar doesn't mean it's not "safe".
I run hotchkis which are massive 1.5'' front/1'' rear and my car handles great. A little more about how swaybars work. Are you auto-x'ing the car? Do you have aftermarket springs? It sounds like you just want a rear bar....
