Default Runs like crap when cold

I have a 95 Mustang Gt 5 speed and when its not completely warmed up it spits and sputters and backfires until you give her about 80% Throttle then she comes alive and runs awesome. You have to drive the car maybe 5 miles or more before it will quit. I just replaced the pickup coil in the car. Car is completely stock with the exception of a off road H pipe and BBK cold air intake. Also when i put the BBK CAI on it i changed the MAF sensor because it came with it (used) So thats ruled out. I aslo took the IAC off and cleaned it even though it looked spotless. and tested the TPS for an ohm reading. But here is the thing the car does it 95% of the time when its cold so even though the TPS showed an constant increase in OHMs i guess it could still be bad. Any tips?????

how many miles on the car? you said all the sensors check out fine, correct? does it spit and sputter everytime you first start the car, or does it only happen when the engine is cold?

sometimes the engine won't even start until i give it fuel and also something will click and the rmps go up to about 1600 when idleing which makes me think its the IAC but also when its running down the road it spits and sputters and if you mash it down 50% or so it will backfire. The car has 172K on the clock. It mainly does it when its cold.

did you do this because of the problem, or did it arise after you did this?

When i bought the car it would not start. I troubleshot it and found the pickup coil faulty so i replaced it and got it going. Had nothing to do with this problem.
