Default black shelby billet grille or roush black 9 bar?

i opened up my street scene eleanor/center fog grille box and pulled it out. i said meh and slid it right back inside the box. definately not my thing.

should i go with the shelby black billet or the roush 9 bar?

the roush 9 bar bugs me a little because if you are right in front, you can see through the whole assembly, though it looks nice from every other angle.

and i heard the shelby billet chips after a few months.

what do yall think?

Neither to be honest. The absolutely best looking grille (if you have the money) is the Bullitt one (simple and has the factory honeycomb pattern which I like).

I know several Shelby GT owners, and they don't really have issues with the billet grille chipping. Of course, they're always preoccupied with the hood scoop and stripe issues.

IF you get the Shelby billet grille, remember to also buy the grille housing- this way you don't have to cut your stock grille at all.

I agree and disagree. I feel just the opposite when it comes to the Bullit grille. I have never been a fan of it. Looks cheap imo.

I have had the CDC and now i have the shelby. the shelby is definately the best of those two due to its housing. Havent noticed any chipping but definately get the thousing. The grille with housing ran me about $225 from www.shelbyperformanceparts.com

I just installed a shelby chrome billet grille but didn't get the housing, big mistake! It wasn't a "hard" job to alter the factory grille but was a little time consuming and annoying. Should have just threw in the extra $120 for the housing but I'm still saving for new rims. I'd probably go with the Roush 9-bar in my opinion.

the real answer to this is what front bumper to you have? if you are staying with the stock gt bumper go with the shelby grill.

the bullitt grill looks awesome with the CS bumper.

Anybody know if the Shelby bullit grille has thicker blades than the Roush 9 blade one? I would be nice if they were thicker so you won't see the radiator as much.
