Hey Guys I have a question. I have to replace the dash wiring harness on my mustang. I got one out of a 93 lx I need to know if they are year specific or can I use this one. Or do I need to get one out of a gt.

i would try to get one out of any 93 with same engine but you should atleast get one out of a 90-93 cause of air bag and guage cluster is different

go to very useful.com and look at the harness schematics you can use the 93 harness its just that some 91 harnesses are specific and you can't mix 91 and prior with 91 and later

88 Cali-89, MAF will fit 87-89
90 MAF, 90 only
91-92 MAF 91-92 only
93 MAF, 93 only.

I believe one of the main differences is the location of the fuel pump relay changed from under the seat to out under the hood, so harness is different

Exactly.

Some other differences also.

87-88 has no airbag connectors, no mass air connector
89 has no airbag connectors, has a mass air connector.
90 has mass air, airbags, and you need to look where the harness connects to the headlight/alternator harness, has a grays and black connector.
91-92 has mass air, airbag, only one relay by the mass air connector (A/C wide open throttle), and has brown headlight / alternator plugs.
92-93 has mass air, airbag, TWO relays by the mass air plug (A/C wide open throttle and the fuel pump relay), and has the same headlight / alternator plugs (only difference being the fuel pump relay).
