Has anyone ever blocked off there heater hoses on their water pump?? If so how?I dont need it anyways considering the only time I drive my car is in the summer.

To clean up the engine bay and remove two hot coolant lines running across the intake manifold.

I bypassed the heater core but I just ran a hose from the water pump directly to the intake manifold.

I thought I wouldn't drive in the winter either... now I'm hooking it back up.

I bought big rubber caps from vatozone and blocked them off

+1 to cleaning up the engine bay and trust me my car wont be out in the winter. Anyways did you just hose clamp the caps on??Were they just big vacuum caps?

I did this on my old truck by cutting a small part of heater hose and just looping it from one side of the pump to the other. Probably only needed about 6 inches of hose.

Foxes have a line going from pump to EGR spacer and heater core. Then both lines return to the intake manifold.

The heater core has two diff sized hoses, so you'll have to run the water pump sized hose to a custom fitting on the intake. Or, what I did, was run an oversized hose from the water pump to the stock intake manifold fitting that I cut off of the original two steel hardlines.

so the temp sensor just screws in that special fitting after all that removal? I have never seen anyone do this on a fuel injected motor.

This is a carb'd car,but anyways Ive heard of primetimes idea up there just didnt know were to get such caps from,but whats the temp sensor have to do with this?

people always seem to confuse A/C lines with heater lines.. there isn't, and shouldn't be a sensor in the heater lines. the two sensors that are in coolant passages are both in the intake, for EFI.
