Engine bay wire hiding
#4
If you put them in some nice wire black wire loom (not red, blue, silver, etc.) then wrap it with the right tape (this stuff), it will go a long way toward cleaning up the engine bay and make it look more modern too.

Ok I guess my question did not make much sense, sorry I will try and clarify. I want to have no wires in the engine compartment (as little as possible anyway) so I'm just looking for some advice on how to do so, whether it's under the fenders or behind the firewall. Thanks if you can help.

If you have to make a wire longer or like me see how shot your harness is then replace that goes cost a little. Most show cars run the harness and ac lines under the fender.Pretty much anywhere will work just keep it away from heat and moving parts.I have my msd box and fuse box mounted in the glove box on a sheet metal plate i made. With the thick shock tower braces your car has i would use them to hide a lot of stuff.

All the cars I do I run the wires that are not for the engine, in the driver side fender. Anything for the engine will come out behind the engine from the firewall. You can move all the wires out of the engine bay.
I have a few cars I've worked on but the pics are not all that good, so hers's just two.
Both Pics, the car is complete and running. Lots of wires are hidden from sight.
