Default Transmission : Hard to put it in Reverse

I have 01 GT with 46K miles on it. Its manual and whenever I try to put my car in Reverse, most of the time I just have to struggle and wont go in Reverse. I have to make 2 or 3 attempts to put it in reverse. But sometimes its really smooth.

Manual transmission oil was changed with Mobile 1 Syn at 43k Miles.

thats how they all are bro.

A nice trick to know is if you let up on the clutch like not even a inch it will go into R like a warm knife through butter (don't engage yoru clutch though!! just take it a lil bit off the floor)

If I put mine straight into reverse it'll make a nice little clang with a slight grind feel. I either go 1-R or 5-R, and always in reverse when I park it I find that helps out some to.

I find that 5-R works every time as far as anti-grinding goes.

Occasionally though, as far as the "blocking" issue goes, maybe 1 out of 30 times, the shifter will hit a "wall" trying to go into reverse, even after trying this 5th - reverse method. This is easily fixed by putting the car into neutral, taking your foot off the clutch and simply trying again. It should definitely go in after this second attempt.
