Vin# which will list it as being built in Livonia, Michigan. They also have stamped metal plates attached in the engine compartment that ID it

If you're talking exterior wise use google (although people can make their cars look real close to a Roush) you'll see the big louvers/roush spoiler/generally a side stripe/roush scoop and hood stripe also.

Only way to tell... www.roushperformance.com/vin_search.cgi

Dont trust the badges, stickers etc... You can find all the parts eventually to build any version of a Roush. The VIN search will tell you if it is the real deal

Heres a great example.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...fCarsQ5fTrucks

They are saying it is a stage 3 supercharged Stage 2. It is a stage 2 if you look up the vin.. Stage 3 should have the seats stitched Stage 3... instrument cluster say Stage 3... tags under the hood etc and a 3 on the back. These A holes want someone to think you can build one so they can charge a premium. Car is probably worth 20K - 24K.. Stage 3 in the 30K range.

YOU WILL BE SO PROUD OF THIS
Stage 3 Roush — any way you look at it!

Yeah... unless you check the vin search

By the way not saying it is wrong to build a Roush or Shelby on your own.. just hate when folks try to screw folks out of money by claiming a car is something it isnt.

Type , what a rip off. I agree there is no problem building your own but don't claim its something its not, especially on a sixxer...

You're not the only one who has trouble identifying different mustangs. Hell, the extent of my knowledge is V6, GT, and GT500....after that I have trouble.

I am in the group that agrees that changing badges to make the vehicle look like something it isn't for me but if a person wants to do it to their vehicle more power to them. Trying to deceive someone and sell a vehicle as something it isn't, on the other hand, is just plain wrong.

if you drive it and it makes a loud whinning noise from the engine bay, rather than a loud whinning noise from the drivers seat .
