Ok i just rebuilt and installed a new motor in my mustang and when i hold it around 1500 rpm it starts to kinda stumble its not really a miss just like the timing or something is off then the check engine light comes on it does it for a few seconds then the check engine light goes off and the rpm jump up about 1000. If your driving it and it happens its like the car falls on its face and kinda kicks and bucks. I believe its a timing issue because i can take the timing diode thing out and it doesnt seam to do it and when you drive it with it out it seams like it is being sluggish just like when its acting up with the diode in and the check engine light on...I have replace every vaccum line on the car so I dont think its that i might try to starter fluid spray test later today but I would just like some ideas on what else this could be I have other distrubutors and icm's i might try to change them out also Thanks for any help anyone can provide me with.

Gee, cel on...do the EEC1V tests and find the codes. Fix the codes, betcha the problem disappears all be itselfff.
