Default BAD VIBRATION IN 94 GT CONVERT!!!

I am getting a bad vibration from the engine in my gt...i replaced the worn motor and tranny mounts...but the vibration is worse now due to the stiffer mounts.....i was told by an "expert" that i have a worn out cam....but i dont hear any cam noise....compression checks good, and i just put new plugs, wires, cap, rotor on. harmonic balancer seems to have very little run out..........HELP GUYS, ANY IDEAS???

Engine does not miss or anything...but vibrates badly at idle,(it shakes the entire car).....when driving it seems to vibrate less, except when you are comming to a stop and the engine rpm drops to around 1000 rpm then it vibrates badly again..PLEASE HELP....I NEED TO KNOW QUICKLY IF I SHOULD BUY A LONGBLOCK OR IF IT MAY BE A SIMPLY SOMETHING STUPID THAT CAN BE REPLACED.....ANYONE HAVE A GOOD USED 302 FROM 94-95...OR KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A GOOD LONGBLOCK?....THANX IN ADVANCE!!!

My Engine is doing the same thing right now! My Dad says that if feels like the engine is searching for a balnce of fuel, like one some of the injectors aren't shooting clean. We are going to flush the injectors this coming weekend. I'll let you know how it goes. Worn out CAM sounds odd. Roller cams don't wear out like that.

check your timing, it may even be a worn out timing chain.

or something as simple as a worn out release bearing for the clutch.

Does your harmonic balancer look OK? When it's running is there any movement? Does it look like it has slipped? That could cause some bad vibration issues.

Dont know if It'll help, but I'll tell the story anyway. Once I broke a blade on the fan. It was fine when the car started up, but when you put a load on it(started driving), the motor vibrated badly. Anything above two-grand....forgetaboutit!! I had to limp the car home at like 20mph.....I also found a a bent axle on a camaro while putting tires on it.The guy said he had a bad vibration. I had the car jacked up in the air at the rear diff, and saw how bent the axle was. Just jack up your car and rotate your tires. Try checking your driveshaft too!! I think that's the easy stuff, besides a good wheel balance. Don't trust the balancers at your local BJ's lol.
