Default 01 GT. Looking for turbo kits

I have an 01 GT that is stock engine wise aside from a MAC CAI. The car is nowpaid off so I'm looking to start putting some money into it. Ideally I would like to get it around 400 or so HP. I've been looking at turbo kits but the problem is I have no idea if they are "complete" kits or not. I want to be able to buy one, take it to the shop, and make sure they will have all the parts needed to install it. Any suggestions? I've heard HP kits are very nice but I have no need for that much power.

Couldn't you just call the company of the one's you're looking at and ask if they're complete? I imagine some are and some aren't. It just depends. It's the same thing with superchargers and nitrous.

Let me ask you a question first. How much money do you have available? If you say "unlimited" then im guessing your young and your parents will buy you anything. Also if your answer is any less then 4k, id say forget it. A decent kit is going to run you alone 3-4 for the kit. then another couple hundred in upgrading your fuel system, then another couple hundred in getting the car tuned. Here is a kit i would recommend. Hellion is a good company and makes very high quality kits.

Yea i mean you're gonna have to factor in a lot of things. Fuel/drivetrain (clutch)/ then the kit/ and a tune.

So i mean make sure you add that all in. You may want some suspension/better tires too or it will just sound cool spinnin the tires.

I wish I had unlimited money. I was looking at no more than 5.5k or so. I've been trying to look at the Hellion kits, but their site isn't working for me. It makes it so small I can't even read it. Do you think I would be better off getting a head/cam combo? I'm not sure how much HP I could gain by that but I'm assuming I could pick up 60 if not more.

Get the hellion kit. That kit is 100% complete and comes with EVERYTHING you need to bolt the kit on. The hellion kits are great. They come with tubular k member, all the fuel components you need, everything. It comes in a box and you put it on and go.
