Default 1977 Mustang II Mach 1

I am starting a build on a Mach 1. I picked this car up for 200 dollars at the end of last summer. Car has no engine. Its a complete rebuild. Now with that being said, i dont know much about cars. I can change a tire and do an oil change and im good. Thats where i am hoping this forum will come in handy. I have allot of questions. is there a guru out there that can help either on here of via email?

Hey there! Welcome to MF! There's not a lot of active Mustang II guys, but it sounds like you got a cool car! Try and post some pics so we can see what you're dealing with.
I'm working on a '68 coupe but I'll do my best to help you where ever I can. For $200 it sounds like you've got a junker, but no worries! I'm sure we can help you bring it back!!!

Now, again, pictures will be a big help in helping you solve problems.
And do you have any details about the car? You said it didn't come with an engine, did it come with: trans, all sheet metal, interior??? etc.
Pics will answer those questions easily, haha.

And it might be easier for you to communicate through email but you will get much more information, help, opinions, and views by keeping it here on the forum.

Hope I can help further! Look forward to hearing back from you!

Cool, we need all the 77 and 78 Mustang II Mach 1 owners we can get. Were a rare breed. Seems everyone held on to the Cobra II's and King Cobra's and used the Mach 1's for parts.

i joined the forum looking for other mustang ii owners, my 78 has been with me since 2004 and in my family since 1990 it has been thru a lot since being the daily driver to its actual status, parked in the garage for a little over a year, i'm planning to bring it back to life...
we should suggest a mustang ii section in the forum.

Default new Mach 1 owner

I am a younger guy but have always had a passion for mustangs and finally found myself a Mach 1 and bought it. The engine runs the interior is rough but I have got it going but I still have far to go to get this where I want it to be. The number one thing I need is either a parts car or a place to get all sorts of parts any help I would appreciate.

I am happy to join this elite group of Mach 1 owners.
