need tire size help/advice
I'm sure it has been discussed but did not find any info on this.
I have a 2007 gt with factory 18" wheels.
What is the biggest tire I can run without rubing?
what brand/make do you recommend?
Any recommendations where to buy?

With the stock 18's, I doubt you would rub even with the widest recommended tire for that rim size. Tirerack lists the recommended wheel sizes under "specs" for each tire.
Tire brand/type depends on what you're looking for; cheap? performance? summer? all season? For a DD that's not driven hard, there are a lot of low to mid priced tires that are just fine. But if you have an aggressive driving style, track or motor-X, then the choices narrow significantly.

I was hoping someone could state what is to biggest tire

Ok now.....Is the question " What's the biggest tire I can run without rubbing " on your stock 18" 8.5" rims or on others...?????
I have 255/45/18 Nitto's (555) up front on 9" rims and 305/40/18 Nitto 555R's out back on 10" rims with no rubbing issues at all..

When you say big, do you mean wide or tall?
If you mean wide, then you won't have any problems as the max width of a tire on a factory 18 x 8.5" wheel is 275mm (I wouldn't recommend that though as the sidewall will be buldging a lot over the wheel). The factory offset of the wheels would keep a tire this wide from rubbing.
If you mean tall, then it would depend if you have lowered your car. The diameter of a factory wheel/tire is approximately 27". I wouldn't go past 28" for a daily driver (remember that you are affecting the final ratio by installing larger diameter tires).

My car is stock, not lowered.
What I mean by ''biggest tire'' is BOTH width & height.
I want to fill up the fender well with tire.
If a 275 is the widest & 28 is the tallest tire , what would
be the numbers for that tire. (Such as 215x60x16)
I am not concerned about the correct speedometer reading.
