Pressure plate Torque specs??
Hey guys just wanna double check what is the proper torque Specs for the pressure plate bolts and the flywheel bolts? 1990 5.0 with a t-5 conversion stage 3 clutch

dont know about the fly wheel but the pressure plate bolts are 35 ft lbs

well i wanted to say like 25 on the PP and 75 on the flywheel. but thats from memory only

75-85 ft lbs for flywheel, put thread sealant on flywheel bolts or oil will leak past threads. Stock pressure plate is 12-24 ft lbs.

Oddly enough the Chilton manual only shows the 2.3l, but it says 54-64ft. lbs for the flywheel and 15-24ft. lbs. for the pressure plate.

I use a 3/8" impact on the on the flywheel bolts, which is about 75lbs on my gun. The pressure plate, I just torque them down evenly. and go over them a few times to make sure they are all the same. I probably go 20 to 25 lbs. Never had a problem.
