Coolant leak---HELP!!
I have a '92 LX vert 5.0. I have a coolant leak that is down the back left side of the block. I so far have done head gaskets/intake gaskets. It is not a bad leak. But enough to notice and smell. Anyone have any ideas of what else it can be. I am at a loss at this point to get it to go away

I have already replaced the head gaskets, and when they were done I had the heads sent and and tested.
Leak only happens when engine is hot, once it cools down nothing shows up on pressure test. I added some dye today hoping that helps

Not to sound disrespectful, but you did follow the torque sequence and torque on the head bolts????. I say this because in the late 70's when Olds come out with the diesel they had head bolt problems. Turned out to be rear head bolt holes weren't tapped out deep enough, go figure.

I had the same issue...turned out to be the heater core hoses (there are two of them...send and return)...my hose clamps were cranked down too hard. You would only see the leak if the engine was hot and at the same time giving it some gas...use your hand and manually rev the engine using the throttle body and shine a flash light back to those hoses to check and see if they are leaking....make sure then engine is at operating temperature.
