I have a 1994 GT with a stock 5.0. I'm wanting to install an aluminum radiator with two cooling fans. Currently i have the factory one cooling fan. Is there a way to install the two fans with the existing wiring? If not how would i wire it?

Any advice is much appreciated, as i'm new to all of this. Thanks!

is your new rad a 3 core ? or 2 core ?
is your t stat still a 192* or whatever they are ?

honestly...if the new one is 3 core, do a 180* and call it a day

The new rad is a 3 core. I put a 185 degree theromstat in it. Its been running a little hot when idleing and the only thing i haven't replaced is the rad. I didn't know if getting the two fans and creating a push pull action would help more than just the one fan or not.

there is no point to replace the fan with any kind of aftermarket unit, as long as it still works. The SN-95 fan is far superior to most aftermarket fan setups. If you car is overheating at idle you need to verify that the fan is working, and make sure your water pump isnt dead.

my radiator cooling fan runs all the time. I unplug the temp sensor and it still runs. could it be the CCRM?

if your fan runs all the time that is ususally a symptom of a bad engine coolant temp sensor or the wiring going to it. If you unplug the sensor it will run all the time by default. So if the ecm isn't seeing the sensor the fan runs.

what do you consider "a little hot "

What is your timing set at, advancing the timing will cause it to run a bit hotter than usual. Advancing way to far will cause it to over heat.

It was a cracked head. The crack was to small to notice any coolent leak, but failed a pressure test. Replaced the heads and now she runs like a dream.
