Default replacing clutch cable 83 5.0

I need some info replacing the clutch cable anything would be helpful.

Purchase a stock cable and replace. Its not hard to do.....

easy just take off your cable and reverse process ti install!!!

I found the clutch cable good and the problem is the plastic adjuster under the dash has stripped the teeth off. It looks like i will have to remove the mounting to replace it any information on this would be very helpful.

its called a quadrant, they offer upgraded metal ones but can be a bit pricey

$30 and it works great. To get the stock plasic crap off its just easier to finish breaking it. Installing the aftermarket one is simple but its a tight fit.
