Default EcoBoost for the Mustang?

Check out Demon 340's homepage article about the rumored EcoBoost for the Mustang. So, what do you think? Is Ford moving in the right direction here? Or is bigger always better?

That is consistent with other coverage I've seen. I think the 3.5 turbo from the F-150 should be a drop in. 365 HP as a mid range option sounds really attractive.

A complex 300 hp 3.0 turbo, not so much.

Personally I like the idea. An all turbo Mustang line up would be very cool to see.

Base: EB 2.5L
GT: EB 3.7L
Cobra: EB 5.0L

Obviously, there will be those who would not like the idea, but it's in Mustang's history to always evolve and change. To stay on the cutting edge and maintain market share the Mustang has to change. Think of all those how absolutely hated the switch to EFI from carbs or the switch to OHC from OHV. Though there will always be a period of adjustment, we as enthusiasts will always adapt, and make the powerful cars we all love.

if they come up with an ecoboost mustang it would likely be my next car. i would miss the sound of the 8. but i think i could deal. better mileage and great performance. not to mention i think a tune and/or some minor mods could probably really wake it up.
