Default Stereo Wiring diagram

Ok Ive been looking for the wiring diagram to my 2002 mustang Gt Convertible. It had the mach 460 setup. Who ever owned the car before cut the wires. I would like to run the factory amps I see 2 of them next to the convertible top motor but I dont see were one would have been right under the headunit (is there 3 amps or just the 2?) All the wiring digrams I see dont say anything about the amp wiring colors only speakers, power and ground.

Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks CliffyK!

I made my weekly trip to Pic-A-Part and found a fresh Mustang that had just been delivered. Long story short I grabbed a few parts I needed and the entire Mach 460 system. Head unit (all plugs with aprox 12" of wire for splicing), both pillar speakers, both door speakers, entire rear unit with all speakers amps ect (with plenty of wire) and rear dash cover with the Mach raised grill. The car still had all it's windows so it hadn't been rained on or exposed to the eliments. Entire Mach system cost me $50. I compared this diagram to the wires on the system and I was able to account for everyone with the exception of two wires that say "ends in harness" and one that goes to "vehicle speed control". I'm going to see if I can make this work in my 2000. Keep your fingers crossed. I can't thank everyone on this forum (and the search button) enough for all their help.

How do you get the covers off the tweeters by the side view mirrors? I tried pulling but it seemed like the fabric was going to give. Are there specific spots that I should squeeze?

Just pull them off, they are help by several shallow interlocking bevels cast into the speaker frame and cover--you'll see this when you get one off.

Prying at the vertical rear joint, outward, with your nails/finger tips seem to work best...

How do you bolt the speakers to the door frame? The screw/bolt lines up with a hole in the door frame but there's no threads behind it. I'm thinking about mounting a post in that hole with the mirror off then sliding the speaker over the post and putting a nut on it.

It uses a metric hex head sheet metal screw with a captive washer, the head is 7mm, it's 16 mm long. This is a bit bigger than a US #6 and a bit smaller than a #8, 5/8" long...

Damn thread necromancer. If it's the mach 460, you will have tweeters in the corners of your doors, where the mirrors are. They will say Mach on them.
