So the JLT Carbon Fiber/tuner combo went up in price quite a bit, wish I would have ordered them a couple months back when they were on sale. Didn't have the money back then.

$110 over the non carbon fiber intake is pretty steep, I think they were like $50-60 more.

Question: I hate to take my business elsewhere, but I plan on still getting my tuner from you guys and running a bama tune, am I still required to get the intake from you guys in order to qualify for your tune warranty on the cyl #8 issue? Or just tuner and run your tunes, correct?

JLT has the painted intakes for $349, thats a great deal compared to the $429 Carbon intakes that you guys have.

So all together, I can pay 379.99 (SCT tuner from AM) + $349 (JLT Painted intake from JLT) = 728.99 (free shipping)

Compared to 769.99 for the Carbon intake and tuner combo from you guys

Thanks so much for the inquiry! Unfortunately, we don't carry the painted versions so you would have to go elsewhere for that. It's definitely something we like to avoid, however, we don't carry every single part ever and can't be mad if you pick it up from someone who does have it. If someone else beats our price on the CF one, however, we would certainly be able to pricematch that if you wanted.

As for the tune question, no you do not need to buy the intake from us to be included the warranty program or to be enrolled in our free tunes for life program. The only thing you have to do to meet those qualifications is to purchase the tuner and subsequent tunes from us. That's all. We don't hold a monopoly on parts, so if you come to us with parts from someone else, we will gladly tune them for ya!

As for what I can do, I can lower the price of the tuner for you at least, by supplying you with the 6% forums discount to use when purchasing it. Please check your PMs for the code!
