Pretty sure it's 5x7, but I think a 6x8 will fit.

5x7/6x8

make sure you just get a driver speaker, not a coaxial, you already have the tweeters up high, you dont need 2 of them and quite frankly the response is 1000X better...

Infinity always gets my vote...

Depends on how crazy you want to go. Rule of thumb, the best speakers are ones you can't find at Walmart/Pepboys/Best Buy.

I'm talking about Boston Acoustic and Hertz quality of speakers.

Best advice is to try and find the exact speakers you want and listen to them at your typical volume range. A speaker may look amazing on paper, but you may not like it's sound output.

The Focal sound great too...especially with a good amp. I replaced the Shaker 500 in my 08 Bullitt with Kenwood nav unit, 2 door/2 rear deck Focal speakers and a Focal dual cone sub in the trunk. (2) 600w Amps (Rockford Fosgate). Kept (and used) the factory subs in the doors.

Thanks smitty I will keep that in mind. Cary ill look into focal. I have. Clarion multimedia head unit and everything else is Mach 460 stock. I just want quality speakers so I can blast music when I feel like drowning out society without blowing another door speaker, or any other speaker for that matter.

i just found some oem speakers on craigslist for 20 bucks. 4 of them. I'll just go with that since i was reading further more on aftermarket speakers on the mach460. I read that the stock wiring of the mach 460 can mess up aftermarket speakers and not give them the right frequency range therefore not outputting the most.

I'm just waiting on a reply from the person. If not then i'll try some infinity's, kicker, boston acustic
