Searched around but didn't find much on this so maybe its not a big issue, but anyone find that the brakes on the Brembo pads create quite a bit of dust?

I wash my car and all i have to do is drive around the block a few times and i start to notice brake dust starting to accumulate already.

Anyone else notice this?

Yes, it's normal. Stop braking a lot then :P
Note: You know they make ceramic brake pads that create less dust. :P

Yeah they are dusty... I use a product, by mothers I think, after you wash the rims you apply it like wax, I get like an extra week

Ceramic pads won't make as much dust.

Basically, the better the pad, the more dust and noise it will make. I ran Hawk HP+'s on all corners for about 5 months and I had to take them off. It's like having a permanent squeal strip in contact with your pad. Sounds like you need to change your pads even though they are new, that and the dust is absolutely horrible as well.

Any ferro-carbon performance pad is gonna make dust, I will take dust over noise though.

:P I'll take both. :P No wonder my buddies always compliment me on a lot of stuff I do except for my brakes though it has a lot of pad in them. I like the performance and I don't care about the noise, though the exhaust is loud. :P

I just installed Hawk Ceramic Street pads on my 2012 Mustang Gt 5.0 w the Track Pak Brembo Brakes. After one week of street driving my wheels are as clean as they were a week ago. The braking is as good or better than the Brembo pads and I even think they require less brake pedal pressure. I replaced the front and rear pads and rotors. I have not experienced any noise so far. I bought the car used and have experienced this incredible brake dust for 6 months otherwise what an awesome car. I am extremely happy with the results so far
