Building a 347 out of using the Ford 'BOSS' block isn't really a good idea if you are thinking of using a 3.400 stroke crank.
For some reason Ford made the cylinder walls on the new blocks very short towards the bottom, this causes the piston to travel to far out of the cylinder when used with a 3.400 stroke crank.
Better shops won't even build one the way.
However, you could make a 347 by doing a 331 and overboring it to make a 347.
Cgheck but I rthink it's something like 3.250 stroke and then 4.125 bore to get to 347, that may work out for you......
Also try CHP.com for good quality engine parts..........

i don't believe the stock will work due to the main cap orientation

I'm thinking someplace like Canton will sell you a new pick-up tube.
Maybe Ford Racing?

why would you want to try to run a stock pick up?? you can't use a stock pan either iirc due to main caps but I could be wrong
