Default half 2012 cobra jet/half 2013 cobra jet?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2013-...t_24570wt_1165
Something seems a bit fishy in that ebay ad. The picture shown is for illustration purposes only but shows a 05-09 model? LOL

Since the 2013 CobraJet won't be built until June, they can't get pictures of the car itself. So I think that they just used a mix of stock photos for the 2013 and 2009 CobraJet cars to give a flavor of them. What they are selling is the 2013 that they have been allocated.

Pinn - that is not just a GT with "adding a SC and vinyl stickers". They are selling one of 50 factory purpose built race cars. You can't drive that car on the street, it has no VIN and is only for the track. It is a very quick factory car too.

Couldn't they had posted pictures of the 2012 cobra jet?

If you can't drive it on the street can you get insurance for it?

You can get insurance on any thing... It just would not be car insurance per se... Atleast not how you and I would perceive it, with collision etc...

Looks Legit (Sarcasm). Yes and this google image looks awfully familiar: Second picture in google images is the same for the sale. How interesting. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...GMWRgwfqxdT8Ag

It is a factory built race car -so the only insurance you can get is race car insurance (yes you can insure your car for racing). The car cannot be street driven, it isn't meant at all for the street - it has one purpose, to go fast in the 1/4 mile.

And it is legit - since they don't have the car in the dealer yet they are using stock photos. Why they didn't just stick with at least the 2012 I don't know, but the 2013 will have a different front end anyway.

Anyone who knows about drag racing knows the factory Cobra Jet series. I'd love to have one, and the price is in the correct range for them.

And if you click on the history report it says it's a 2012 Shelby GT500
