Default 63 mustang

Has anyone built a 63 mustang replica? I'm thinking of building one, it looks possible using a 66 coupe body, 63 tbird front end, 67 dash parts, and a lot of fiberglass.

Cheers

I couldn't find anything, but i'd think a good place to start would be a visit to the museum presently holding the only known 63 mustang (along with a good digital camera). That and i'd buy this, it's a model of the car, would probably help with scaling and general shape when you're doing the body work:http://www.amazon.com/Lindberg-72169.../dp/B001KO0WK8
the finer stuff you'd have to do yourself by looking at the real thing. Who knows, if you do a good enough job with that portion of the job maybe they'll allow you to get a closer look at the 63 so you can complete your replica.

It is a pretty small car. It would also be a great project!

Someone left a 63 mustang prototype Hot Wheels car on my desk at work. I thought that it was the coolest thing in the world.
