Unhappy CAI and Bama tune.. Disappointed so far

So I put in my CAI and dropped the 89 octane base tune on. Feels much slower then it did stock. Seems like it loads up or something. Thought it was going to die coming out of the driveway. Not sure if I want to go up to the 91 (mid) tune or not. I put a full tank of 91 when I filled up last.

What do you think? Change the tune and try again or not risk it and call Bama in the morning?

Update:
Just wanted to update everyone in case you don't want to read the whole thread. Issue has been resolved. Thanks to both Chris's at AM for pointing out the Venturi Tube is not needed with the Airaid intake and bama tune. Hopefully instructions will be provided for all new kits to point this out.

It is probably just going to take some time for the computer to relearn the throttle... Drive about 100 or so miles and it should be fine.

That doesn't sound right at all. Maybe try returning it to stock and reloading the Bama tune again...

Call bama. You might need to run a data log but something doesn't sound right at all.

Is the opened end of the MAF sensor supposed to go towards the airbox or the TB? I put it towards the airbox. Looks like it can go either way.
