Watch it here: Boss 302 Crashes at Mid Ohio

I laughed at this the first time I watched because I wasn't really expecting a crash like that. Either way, brake failure is terrifying. This goes double when you're racing.

Wow, the driver is lucky that car didn't flip! Thought it was going to when the rear flipped up.

I thought this sounded familiar (Brake failure on Boss) found a blog that mentions the Mototrend brake failure on their test drive Boss! That failure was a pedal pin. Wonder if that was the same cause on this red Boss?!

Second scariest thing is hydroplanning. Did that in the pouring rain, downhill. Hill has two lanes of traffic in each direction, I was travelling down on the inside lane, turned the wheel and the car kept moving forward. I slid accross three lanes before I had traction again. Thank god the road was pretty empty (early sunday morning) or i could've had a head-on collision at 40+ mph!

Save on your brake pads, down shift.

Saving your pads isnt going to resolve a ****ty pot metal part that Ford thinks is "adequate" from breaking and sending you and their flagship out of control to whatever doom a 12 cent part determines.

Note the grainy look to this broken pin and that it is broken clean off and not bent.
Cheap, crappy metal.

For something so important you would think they would put the best pin in they could design, not some cheap crappy pot metal pin.

It would be interested to see if the pin failure was the cause of this wreck.
