Default 2013 Headlights on 2012?

Saw a thread on the tails but not on the headlights. Do the 2013 headlights swap in the spot of the 2012 headlights perfectly? Browsing some AF sites it seems they sell the same tail and headlights for 2010-2013 I assume they are all a direct swap? Hoping to find one in the salvage yard eventually, called Ford and they said the tails are $1,000 and the headlights are $640......

I would think no, since the front bumper fromt he 2013 is actually the gT500 front end from the 2011-2012 Model year

there are DRLs in the new headlights, so most likely the connectors are a bit different.

Not to mention they are HID so there is most likely a different wiring harness.

Three No's in a row, sigh my dreams are shattered.. Guess I'll be keeping these. I don't get why then you can buy AF ones that somehow fit all model years 10-13?

I bet they fit all the same and can be wired to work.

easier route: get a custom retrofit setup. that's what I am doing.

using my existing housing - shipping my headlights to a professional, installing projectors from an fx35 and shrouds from a g37, going to cost me around 550$.

Don't the 2011 GTs use the same light housing as the 2011 GT500s? If that's the case and the bumper is the same as the GT500, it should work.
