Not the same car / motor, but I absolutely love my Kooks long tubes and x pipe. quite expensive, but the quality was top notch!

You get what you pay for, Kooks is the way to go! Save for em if you have to!

The idea that you have to pay for a decent product is true. However, it is not necessarily true that if you pay twice as much that you get something that is twice as good.

Kooks are nice pieces, but many guys have great results with some of the cheaper brands. I have had no issues or complaints with my BBK Ceramic LT and shorty mid-pipes(O/R H & catted H).

Had BBKs and macs, both worked just fine and still holding up fine, go for something ceramic coated.

I bought BBK's and haven't had any problems with them.I didn't get ceramic coated ones.Got a matching X pipe as well.On uberstangs car the driver side Mac LT, the steering shaft ran in between the tubes if I remember correctly.

I myself look at the most bang for the buck... pacesetter is by far the biggest bang for the buck. Sure kooks gives maybe 5 hp more but you also are paying 750$ for 5 hp. You will see roughly the same gains from the pacesetters and be able to get the shorty H for it and a new catback and a chip for what you would pay for the kooks headers. guarentee you make more power after all that. Some people may disagree but its about what you want to do with you car cause its not their car so take advice but dont do it cause other people say it. Its a learn from your mistakes or what worked best for you situation anytime you mod a car

^ This.

Don't buy the magnaflow X-pipe. I've had multiple magnaflow products and they always fit like garbage. Also refuse to refund shipping money when you ship the old pipe back (do you have any idea how much it costs to ship an X-pipe form NJ to CA?). The two pipes I had were 3/4" different between they bolted up to the headers.
