BACK to the TRACK in the SS
Well took My wife's 2011 L99 Camaro SS to the track last week. I was a little disappointed with the 104 traps and the 13.5 times. I slapped a SCT 93 octane tune and Air Raid CAI on the car and did the fuse pull to clear the low octane mode and went back today. With 26 psi in the rear tires the car did better but I'm still not impressed. With a 1.9 sixty I was able to run a 13.14 and a 13.16@107 and 106 respectively. Maybe I'm just expecting miracles but I thought with the tune it would do 12s. Still very easy to drive. My wife who managed a best of 14.0 last week blasted of a 13.1@107 on her first pass of the night. Fun night, killed a SRT-8 charger. Mazda speed3. and a S197 Mustang. Got my pants beat off by a intake/exhaust/tune 2013 Auto mustang. It ran a 12.6@112 to my 13.1@107. I'll post up the slips and maybe a ****ty cell phone video of my wife's 13.1 pass tomorrow.

still not bad times, it's amazing the new cars that with very simple mods are in 12 second capable territory, and yet we're still dissapointed with them lol. get a little better tires on the back and I think you got it.

lol I wasn't necessarily meaning a dr, just a better street tire, prolly wider too. something to get a high 1.7 60' or something. Like a kdw2 or nitto invo. Something that'd still be good in rain and not noisy or rough so your wife wouldn't complain.

Settle down laughing boy.
There is things I love about the car and things I hate. Love the styling, Better looking car that a Mustang. (I know I'll pay for that opinion on here) They made it look good to the point that the styling kills the sightlines out of it. Don't buy one if your claustrophobic. The transmission in it sucks *****. Why does a Mustang trap 110 with and auto and a Camaro can only reach 106???

I'm really surprised the stock times/traps were so ugly.
Though, personally, a 1.9 60 on a street tire-automatic car isn't bad all.
Is a 12.6 for an intake/exhaust/tune 5.0 normal? Seems a little slow depending on 60'
