not a smart idea to do a 363 in a boss block with the short skirts, you really need to speak with Jim Woods at fordstrokers.com ABOUT THE ISSUES SUCH PRESENTS.....or don't it's your money

I would look at the shp dart block. You'll need to spec out piston rings and all bearings also. Might save you some headache to look for a stroker kit instead of piecing your own. Theyre usually discounted a little bit as well.

If you're getting a brand new block, you'll have to do all of the machining to it, not just the bore. Add in cam bearings and freeze plugs also

Overbore/hone jobs range anywhere from $10-$50 per cylinder depending on who does it.
Is the block one of the newest ones from Ford or an older one?
The newer ones are cast somewhat different than the first ones were.
I'd plan on the overbore/hone, align bore as well as checking/decking the block to get the pistons about .010 down in the bore.
You'll also need to get the stroker kit balanced.
Last block I had done was close to $700 for the machine work and about $200 for balancing........

I forgot about balancing ^^^. Mine was internal, so add in $400. All of that, plus i had my heads milled and my lower intake port matched

ehh **** it im gonna look into the dart performance 363 stroker. the only thing is im looking for around 9-1 compresion so i can run a turbo in the near future. instead ill just do a 347 cause i can get all the power i want out of that. this should do just fine. just bolt on and go from there

If you get a short block, i would still disassemble it and check everything unless its built for a reputable shop
