Default New project!

1989 LX 5.0 5 speed
78,600 original miles
Almost bone stock!
Leaks some oil, grinds into reverse and hums in 3rd and 4th, and has a bad exhaust leak. Interior was redone kinda half assed but looks good. Best thing, and the reason I bought it, is that there's NO rust on it, and the paint is next to brand new. Not sure if that's a period correct color because I'm pretty sure that's 99-04 GT Sonic Blue, but hey, I like it.

Sorry about the instagramed out front view, gf can't resist herself sometimes...

Plans: Use the Tremec TKO 600 and twin 50mm turbo setup from my sister's fiancee, build a 351w to my liking, then feed it Camaros and Chargers all day long!

I paid $4000 on the nose. That was before I struck a deal for the TKO 600 and twin 50mm turbo kit from my sisters fiance. For no rust and fresh paint, I felt it was fair.

Definitely getting another hood though...lol.

Great find! and good price too, I'd grab some new headlight. Will really give it a clean look and they are fairly cheap

scratch that, after further inspection it looks like you already have that covered

I kinda like that hood! Old school cool! So... If it's for sale, I may bite on it. I've got a few ideas to make it cooler!

Also... What's with the grinding into reverse? Mine does it too. Tranny shifts great, clutch is adjusted properly... What gives?
