Does this seem slow to you?
Well I took her out to the track last night... Southwestern International Raceway in Tucson, AZ. It was a great night for a Test n Tune. I got 16 runs in which is amazing. Even if I was there from 5PM to 11:30PM.
Here is my best slip.. I think I should be fast but I just couldnt get any better at all. I started in the 16s and brought her down to a consistent mid 15.
What do you guys think? Is there something wrong with it?

Street Tires... 245/50R16s An all season with good tread depth. I kept them at street pressure because I didnt have a pump and I was launching between 2600-3000 with the brake mashed... They were weak launches and it took forever to hit the power band.

Well the reaction time has NOTHING to do with my times when I am just doing a Test and Tune. I sit at the light for a long time sometimes to get a good launch. I agree with the gearing though.

I thought you would have been in the low 14's/high 13's with that setup. First thing I noticed in that list was the gearing like everyone has said. Has the car been tuned? What's the car weigh? The heads are definitely killing potential.
As a side note, that's a clean looking car.

Yes gearing is 3.27 I was told, so that hurts for sure but is fantastic on the highway.
I do not know if the car has been tuned or not. I would assume so.

Yeah, new heads would be nice to help her breathe.
And thank you! I just bought her on Thursday and I am very happy so far.

I also race that strip, have for years.
That 4500+ air density isn't helping things at all, niether are those gears and the car wieght.
NHRA used to correct.25 to sea level from Tucson so you would have run a 15.21 or something like that last night.
I would take a long look at all the systems on the car as it seems very pokey to me......

I think most of it is the 3.27 gearing and the 2600 stall. I am slow off the line hardcore. But she shifts solid and pulls hard from 3500-6000.
