Default Closest to V8 sound

So what does everyone think I should put into my Mustang to get as close as possible to that V8 grumble (without a V6-V8 swap lol). Also if you have links to mufflers/exhaust systems please link them as I would like to see what it would cost and look for possible sound clips.

You are going to need a full on exhaust system to get a close sound it will not really sound like a V8 but it will not sound like an import either. It will involve longtube headers, midpipe and a good catback system. One of the guys on here has a setup he posted a few days ago can't remember his name...... I will see if I can find it and get back to you shortly unless he posts first.

Alright thanks. Yeah I just don't want my Mustang to sound like a riced out Honda civic.

Going to be trying a similar longtube setup on my wife's V6 once I get the ol credit card paid off. It kinda got maxed with my upgrades to the GT lol. Will post videos once it's done though.

Yeah once I get moved into the new house I'm definitely going to start upgrading my car. I actually think I have an exhaust leak though. I'm gonna wind up making a video and posting it to see what everyone thinks.

Ive gotten many compliments and even asked if mine was a V8. Sounds better than my clip but all I have is that A75 Powershot lol. Think I was too close also.

Screw the V8 sound

I've learned to enjoy and live with what you can afford, and have. You'll never have that V8 sound, but that's okay. I rather supercharge my car than spend thousands just for my car to SOUND like a V8.
