Default 88 GT...HELP

hey guys, new to the forum here, i got an 88 GT mustang in a trade, its got a pretty built engine, just needs some body work.. Now with that being said, the strut towers are rotted. im curious if its possible to patch them WITHOUT removing the engine? Ive heard of people taking off the fender and inner fenderwell, but i dont know how well this works. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

I'm in the same boat as you, my strut tower is half gone, along with floors, rocker panels. I'm assuming if your tower is rusted thru, there is sure to be other areas also. Been looking for a clean notch for years now, but up here in the rust belt, no luck without paying a premium. I've seen towers repaired and it can be done, but is the rest of the car worth it?
