car heats up only when stopped

Default car heats up only when stopped

So I'm starting to have this problem my car heats up when I'm stopped once I get back to regular speed 50-60mph everything straightens, I also noticed that my a/c doesn't cool when I'm stopped but works regular when I get to regular speed, any kind of help would be greatly appreciated thanks guys

Electric fan is either dead or the switch is bad

Yep. Check the fan and related wire harness. If it's good, next check the CCRM (Constant Control Relay Module - in passanger fender). It controls both the radiator fan and the A/C.

Thanks so how soon is the fan suppose to start going? As soon as it cranks ?

Fan is on a thermostat switch. Fan should come on as soon as you turn on the A/C.

Do you have any mods? I overheat with A/C on if car isnt moving or heavy city traffic because of the added restriction to radiator the inter cooler for my super charger. Never overheats w/o A/C on.

Fan has two settings that can be triggered three ways.
Low setting about 10 degrees warmer than the thermostat. (Thermostat opens so coolant is moving through the radiator, then the fan kicks on.)

High setting that kicks on about 20 degrees warmer than the thermostat. (So if low fan isn't moving enough air to cool it down, more air will make it happen.)

High setting also gets triggered when A/C is set to MAX.
