As far as performance
Intake, tuner, under drive pullies, uh...not much else you will prolly be able to do yourself.

My 04 looked almost exactly the same as yours when I got it

American muscle does their tunes in house and they specify it for you upgrades and car. I bet the borla sound sick on it? I did the same just with flowmasters :/ damn budget. Idk how you are on appearance but I'm in the white mustang club like y'all and I like subtle black accents. Some rims of your choice and a some lower springs would make it stand out. But nice car mustangq!

No need to chip or change your computer. You can buy a tuner that "reprograms" your factory computer, it plugs into the diagnostics port for your car.

So I am looking at tuners, what would you recommend? I was thinking about one with a screen that i can leave connected and mount on the dash, any suggestions?
Also, i hear there is a way to tune my V6 to make it almost equal to a V8, is this true?

I know the feeling about the budget, but figured if you are going to do it why not do it right, lol!
I like black accents too, but didnt really know how they would look with the tan convertible top?

Ya the top is a little bit of a killer. Another look iLife to see is just the sleeper look. Spend your money on the performance stuff. Doesn't matter what it looks like if its already gone
