92 drivers window dead......
In the down position. This is a 92 hatch too. Passenger side still goes up and down, so i am thinking it is the motor. Thinking I might just replace the switch and motor.....Any advice? I have never done the power window motor on a fox before. Never done a power window motor before period. Any tricks? I have only replaced the window regulator in my 67 fastback in college......

It can just be stuck too...my passenger side window got stuck down. I took off the door panel and pushed the window up while hitting the switch and it went up. If it is the motor they are only held on by 3 nuts. Very easy to change. I would pull the motor out and leave it connected and try the switch on both doors

bang on the door panel nd see if it will go up..you dont hear it running at all?? or do you hear it going click click click?? motor replacement is easy dril out liek 3 rivets and then just use nuts and bolts to bolt the motor back in(unless you have a rivet gun that will work)

Dont replace the motor. Motor is probably okay. The nylon torque pins in the gear are probably broken. You should be able to get some if not the whole gear assembly from Napa. Gear is at most $15, motors are at least $60. Pull motor out of door and hit switch. If motor turns pins are shot. If not check for power to motor. If you have power with both switches then replace the motor. If no power occurs when a switch is pressed check for broken wires or a bad switch. Wires in door jambs can break over time.
