A last minute run with a very fast and very clean 2008 Chevy Silverado. The Truck is a crew cab (6,000+ pounds) fitted with the 4.8L V8 and a 72mm Turbo @ 7 psi. along with various bolt on and supporting mods.

I was very impressed with the truck.. it was by far one of the nicest looking trucks I've seen and it was nice to see it had the beef to back it up!

The owner was very cool and knew I was going to beat him but was still down for some runs.. I respect that because I'm the same way and will run anything even if I know I'll get beat. Guys like us just like racing.. period.

Damn, that little 4.8 was working its *** off to push all that truck, lol. Good runs! I'd love to turbo a 5.3 regular cab, but with an older model. The new ones look too big/bulky imo.

Edelbrock is building a SC kit for the 6.2 HO now. That might scoot.

Thanks, I've had the 5.0 since New Years. Yeah it was a pedal fest; stock tires/suspension isn't very good!

Yeah, I'm sure it has gobs of torque, good for towing!
