Interior Problems
Hello All,
Was wondering if any of you guys have had problems with the leather on both door panels peeling off? I have tried for the past few months to get it to stick back on, but after a week or two it falls back off. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do to fix it? Also if any of you have taken it somewhere to get fixed what did you end up spending?
Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the quick response... I did a search, but apparently I did not use the right words... My only issue with this is I have already tried other things like super glue, and other adhesives, so I worry that this is no longer an option for me

The repair described in the link has worked for quite a few folks. Just follow the directions. If it doesn't hold, you either didn't follow directions or you have contaminated the surface(s) previously and the correct adhesive (NOT superglue) may not hold properly.

I used one of these to flatten bubbles and push the edges back in their spot:
Yes you probably have one of these for dishes.
Be sure to let it sit at least an hour in a non-humid area and level. Good ingredients for success.

JCON I know you only did this a few days ago but how well is it holding up? I just bought some of that weldwood stuff mentioned in that repair, but haven't had time to do it yet.... I have tried numerous adhesives and they hold up for a week or so and then it starts falling off again

When I had my 06 I actually put vinyl with the diamond-punch pattern from a roll I ordered. I used 3M 90 Adhesive, and it held up for several years in the hot desert sun. The trick is to spray a good even layer and let both sides dry a bit according to the instructions. That's the important part... LET IT SIT a bit.

HAHAHA!!!! Yea the last thing I tried was something very similar to the 3m stuff.. i got it from autozone and it is supposed to be for headliner, carpet, etc so I thought that should work pretty well and it did for about a week... the drivers side is not bad at all... the passenger side is horrible
