my 03 GT came with a bassani O/R x-pipe when i bought it and i noticed that every time i accelerated a "whoosh" sound came from the passenger side of the car, its kind of hard to explain... almost like a gust of air was passing under the car but the sound emanated mainly from the passenger side of the car under the passenger side footwell

i thought that the x-pipe itself was leaking so i bought a magnaflow catted x and the sound changed from a "whoosh" noise to a popping rattle i hear this noise every time i accelerate and when i cruise at 1500-2000 rpm

this clip is of the passenger side rattle that i am hearing whilst accelerating

this clip is of a noise that just started occurring recently it seems to be coming from the drivers side of the car and i can hear it all the time whether i am idling or driving, is this noise related to the first rattle?

I'm stumped as to what is causing these noises, i have no CELs, oil looks good, coolant looks good, etc any help identifying these noises would be appreciated

Hmm, a video of under the hood running would help too. Sounds almost like something internal. Hope it's not a bearing or valve train problems.

the engine sounds normal (to me at least)

to clarify, the first clip is of a noise that only occurs when under throttle it sounds almost like marbles in a tin can and it comes from under the passenger side footwell

the second clip is of a popping noise that seems to be coming from under the drivers side of the car, it starts happening after the cars been on for a couple of minutes or so and persists whether I'm idling or driving

does anybody have an idea as to what these noises are? coolant looks good, oil looks good, i dont have smoke coming from my exhaust, the car still has power and drives normally, idle is at around 790-810 from a cold start, new COPs, fuel filter, spark plugs, etc

maybe pre-ignition? loose headers or hangers?
