Default CAI & TB, now need headers

Hey all
Finaly installed a BBK 73MM TB and a BBK CAI yesterday, insall was extremly easy. Lowered the exhaust sound quite a bit, Have Borla ATAK axel backs. Kinda a likeing the sound no longer sounds like a lawn mower on steroids. Question i have now, Going to get headers long tube. Orginally was looking at the BBK's, now looking hard at the Borlas with O/R X-pipe. Either way I go I will also get a BAMA tune. Need some opinions on headers. 2013 V6 Performance Package, Manual trans

BBKs are less expensive, the more popular choice and have gotten proven results. The fastest NA 3.7s run with them. MAC is supposedly coming out with some, but I don't think they are on market yet. The prices on their site are even lower than BBK.

DO you have smog regs in Mich? I only ask as LT's are not legal in all states.

Chazman1962,

I've said this more than a few times on this forum, but I love the BBK LT headers for 3.7 v6 Mustangs! They get my vote because of the cost and functionality of the headers. We installed these same headers on our Procharged 2011 v6 Project Car and haven't looked back. This car has been making 450rwhp with the BBK headers for over two years now and has made dozens of 11 second passes at the track.

I'm more than confident you'll be happy with the BBK LT headers for your 3.7 Mustang. That being said, Borla makes a killer exhaust too. I certainly don't mean to down play them one bit.

Hope this helps your decision!

Shane

Got a chuckle out of this, I ended up going with the Brorla LT headers and a tune from AM, Just waiting for them to get them to install. I apperciate the feed back, The final decision was basically I already had the Borla ATAK axel back's. Really likein the 73MM TB and the CAI with no tune increased the MPG's 3-4 even when I get on it seems to be better

I went with the BBK long tubes and Magnaflow Street cat-backs.
