Drivers side front caliper has one stuck piston. Im trying to remove it so I can do a rebuild but the darn thing is stuck in there. I've tried using compressed air to force it out to no avail, also tried pulling it out with pliers and that's only chipping the edges of the piston. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated, I'm currently just losing brake fluid as I type even though I have a plug on the line! my stupid phone isn't allowing me to attach a pic but will try loading up on computer soon
well i was going to buy the rebuild kit as soon as i got it disassembled, but i guess not. guess i should just replace both front calipers while i'm at it..
thanks for the quick input fellas. got two remanufactured calipers coming in from advance auto within the next couple days =/ ah well, at least they offer an awesome $40 discount with free shipping!
Not bad at all. I work at advance, I tell people if they're looking to save money buy online and pick it up in the store. Working there has its advantages, like a $120 battery for $50
