I have a 15/16" front and no rear bar on my '67, plus 4.5-leaf mid-eyes on the rear and .620 (540lb) front springs. It's pretty well balanced for a street car, although I may upgrade to a slightly larger front and a small rear bar in the future to cut down on the body roll in the back during (very) hard cornering.

The first bar I bought wouldn't clear the oil pan............:-( Had to buy another, smaller diameter one. Can't remember what sizes off the top of my head.
In other words this is a worthless post by me. :-(

on my '65, I also have the stiffer springs and did the 1" arning UCA drop - I added the 1 1/8" sway bar when I rebuilt the suspension, and I am pleased with it - I did not think it would make much difference, but I have noticed more than I thought I would.
I would do it again.

Most Classics are WAAAYYYY too soft in the rear end to corner properly (partly an issue of dealing with leaf spring setups). Bigger front bars help with increasing front grip, but it depends completely on the setup, especially the rear.
Once you get the rear suspension sorted, the front bar will actually tune the car. But with most rear setups people run, all the front bar really does is reduce front roll in a corner and help the car to not feel like it's floating all over the place in a corner.
