I currently have a pair of used UMI Performance Rear Lower Control arms (adjustable length) that I haven't gotten around to install.

A local deal has come up on Maximum Motorsports MMRLCA-5 Rear Lower Control arms.

Both arms have a poly bushing at the at the chassis end and a spherical bushing at the axle end. However the UMI is also adjustable length.

Should I stick to the UMI's, or move to the Maximum Motorsports?

I am hoping to reduce the side-to-side rear end unsettling movement my car does over bumps.

I don't know that there will be a big difference between the two (I favor MM, but...), but neither one will eliminate side to side motion of the rear axle. The rear upper control arms are what control side to side motion in these cars.

This pretty much sums it up. I do favor the mm products but either will due.

They will help a bit with the side to side movement but not eliminate it. Don't even waste your time on replacing the UCA's they are a horrible band-aid design. Start with your LCA's and aim for either a panhard / torque arm or watt's link setup. If you don't have subframe connectors, do them NOW!

Pressing a spherical bushing in the rear end and using a spherical bushing adjustable upper control arm is by far the way to go if if your looking for street/drag strip performance. Panhard/torque arm and watt link setups are for autocrossing and handling and will pale in comparision to a proper 4 link setup as far as a drag performance standpoint.
