Best mailorder Tune for the Price
I want to get a mail order tune for my 2013 GT/CS and I don't want to get a custom dyno tune since I have very minimum mods. What is the best place to get a good safe mail-order tune and see good results. Any body have positives or negatives from mail order tunes. I have a custom flash SCT tuner that I had my 2010 GT custom tuned.
Thanks

I have a diablo sport tuner from American muscle with custom tunes from Bama performance and run 93 octane race tune. The difference in performance is way noticeable and have had no problems at all. You can't go wrong with Bama.

I have the Bama tune and am running my car stock. My engine idle 'sounds' better with the factory tune and produces more low end torque than the Bama.
The other problem I have with it, is that I have an auto and don't like the custom tune. I like firmer shifts and better throttle response but the Bama tune shifts can be unpredictably extreme at times. If I could get a tune for the auto that was somewhere in-between stock and the Bama tune, I think I'd like it.
Question for you 2011+ guys...is Ford voiding engine warranties on tuned cars?

VMP, Brenspeed or AM. All three are excellent. There is no "best" and I wish people would stop asking what's the best tune, what's the best exhaust, what's the best tire. It's almost like asking what's the best **** (of course, ANY **** is the best ****).
The tune can be tweaked the same by anyone. But those 3 have excellent experience and track records to boot. I'd lean towards AM, despite my having (and sticking with) Brenspeed tunes only because AM offers their "tunes for life".

The tune on my 2007 (Signature) was an old Bama Mailorder Tune (Doug was still in Alabama) and my 2011 had a Brenspeed Mailorder Tune (+11 rwhp, +23 rwt) and I liked both.
Im leaning toward VMP for the auto car based on the way the local customers cars shift.

VMP tune on my auto here. Best time with stock converter and stock gears is 11.81. I've had many tune revisions for free so that's just a marketing ploy by Bama with the free tunes for life. And Bama would be the last tune I'd run. I've data logged their tunes for people and there is nothing special done with the tune except more timing. No changes in the cam timing which is important.
