Mudflaps
Hey there guys, I was just looking at a few mudflaps from AM and it seems that they have bad reviews because they are "flimsy". are there any "GOOD" mudflaps that arn't so flimsy? i was just wondering because my car has the staggered tires and are kicking up some serious SH*T, and litteral sh*t (Amish). so i was hoping someone could give me some insite to "better" mudflaps. Thanks!

You'll have to line them up and drill holes thru the mudflaps to utilize the factory screws in the body panels, but it works quite well.
Given your location, any Advanced Auto should carry them

3M makes a spray on "bra" sort of like an aerosol can of plastidip... you can find that at Advance Auto as well.
and
http://www.chipmagic.biz/clear_bra.html these guy make a competing product. And claim to be scratch resistant.
Its like 14 bucks a can, but this might be a better solution than mudflaps(at least better looking)...this will wash clean and can peel right off to be reapplied. So a can can last a pretty long time.
Just sayin.....

I have "mud flaps" on the back of my '05 Screaming Yellow GT. They are not rubber, they are a form of plastic. They bolted on to holes already available on the car. I didn't like the supplied fasteners, I bought good quality, not going to rust, fasteners and used same quality oversize washers to spread out the bite on the flaps. I guess they've been on there since '06 with no problems. I've stock tires, but I was still getting crap thrown up on the rear quarter panels, I was afraid of scratches that may appear to stay.

Heres another set of mudflaps that you should look into installing on your pony.
