I second orange peel, factory stock is worth more. On car shows, some favor factory stock, and others favor heavily modded; there's a place for both. Factory stock is probably the easier cheaper path. In the end, I do what I want with my car - it is mine and nobody else's opinion counts (except my wife's, but she gives me free rein in this area).
