This account hasnt been that helpful to you guys, but my previous one was...unfortunetly for whatever reason i couldnt log back in. Then went through basic and all soon after i made this account (Hoorah Air Force!) Just wanted to let you guys know, i appreciate every bit of advice i got from you guys, And i hope all of you enjoy the holidays!

Hope their is nothing wrong with it. Dealerships are out to make money and it's extremely unlikely they "didn't know what they had". Either it is a lemon and they knew it, or it sat for so long they had to take a deal.

Gave it a good once over, checked every fluid, checked everything out real good, test drove it...The works...Apparently by the vin number the 440as, pop up as Premium GTs...so they were selling it at that price. The salesman thought it was a v6 with a rediculous body kit

I like the color scheme it has going! I never cared to much for the edge or new edge styles but they have grown on me. Would love to pick up an 03 or 04 Mach1 at some point, but would have to be orange or its a no go. Congrats on the find! I have seen this happen before with dealerships, a guy I talked with at a car show last summer picked up a Roush Black Jack from a BMW dealership for the price of a standard GT. They had even tried to scrub the signature off the dash :P

No way! This one is on a used lexus lot. It also seems like someone tried to get rid of the signature. Car is immaculate.. However it does have 80k miles. But still.. (For those of you that don't know...The 440a... only 40 were made...15 were coupes. ..very rare find)

Lucky. There was only 40 of those made. Should have the Roush interior and rear exhaust instead of the normal side ones. Supposed to have about 360hp out of a claimed 400hp. Also note that only 1 dealership sold them and it was in Florida. I'd check it underneath for sea salt damage.

I totally agree! I am sure Roush could always drop a new engine or rebuilt it if you needed it to be 100% authentic....... Not a car I would ever sell!

I'm in tampa...stationed down here...all 40 were sold at Brandon Ford. It does have the roush interior. And rear exhaust (now has magnaflows) lowered an inch. And the previous owner is actually a mechanic at the dealership and he said he rebuilt the tyranny and replaced the rear seal while he had the tranny out.
